The Harms of Drug Prohibition

0002_the_harms_of_drug_prohibition   Randy E. Barnett is a lawyer and legal theorist, and a Senior Fellow of the Cato Institute and the Goldwater Institute. He also teaches constitutional law and contracts at Georgetown University Law Center. In this video from a 1999 Institute for Economic Studies meeting in Aix-en-Provence, France, Barnett recounts his time spent as a prosecutor in Chicago, Illinois, and speaks about the harms to both drug users and civil society at large as the result of drug prohibition in America.
